Valuable Resources to Help You Navigate Your Infertility Journey

National Infertility Awareness Week ran from April 23rd to April 29th this year and was a huge success in bringing awareness to the infertility community, but let’s not stop there.

Nearly 1 in 6 are affected by fertility issues. These issues can be related to existing conditions such as PCOS or Endometriosis and in some cases, these individuals are left with undiagnosed infertility.

Our goal is to continue to provide resources and support for both our patients as well as those outside of our clinic to help them navigate every aspect of their fertility journey from treatment processes to financial options.

Our website offers an array of resources for the local and national community, including credible information on reproductive medicine, women’s health, oncofertility, support, and a detailed financial guide. Below you can find a review of a few of the important resources we have available.

Introduction to Fertility and Reproductive Medicine:

We have an entire section of our website dedicated to fertility treatment information ranging from the most common infertility questions to an easy guide to understanding IVF. We also didn’t forget the many acronyms and how confusing those can be, so we’ve included a glossary. Under this section, you can also find an extensive list of medications and instructions for administration.

Beyond the fertility basics, we also have a variety of pages that give detailed information on things such as surrogacy, egg freezing and preservation, and male infertility.

Determining Your Insurance Coverage and Treatment Costs:

Pursuing the right fertility treatment comes down to more than just the processes involved. We understand that financial aspects also need to be considered. We always run a complimentary check of insurance benefits for our patients (although we always encourage you to reach out to your insurance to guarantee your coverage options). In addition to reviewing insurance coverage, we have also partnered with organizations like Sunfish to help you better understand your financing options.

Our website has a complete financial guide that breaks down our review process and the various financial partners and how they can help you better afford your future fertility treatment.

Support Resources and Community Groups:

In addition to the medical and financial aspects of your fertility journey, we also have a number of resources on our website for support and community groups. These groups can be extremely beneficial as you navigate through the various stages of fertility treatment and are a good way to connect with others who better understand what you are going through.

We have recently partnered with Uniquely Knitted, which is an amazing organization that offers virtual group meetings that are designed to help you process and heal. These meetings are led by trauma-informed facilitators who are dedicated to helping you remain resilient on your journey.

Resources For All:

We are proud to be a part of such an amazing community and continue to maintain our state-of-the-art facility and level of care for all of our patients. We feel that having easy access to important resources is part of providing that high level of care, and we will continue to add new resources as they become available.
